With Singapore weather being so hot and humid, other than sending your dog for monthly  dog grooming , it is also recommended to bathe your dog at least once a week to prevent skin issue. The frequency also depends on a few areas like your dog’s breed, skin condition, living habit, living environment, and age. Dog breed – Dogs with thicker coat(poodle, samoyed, husky, etc) need to be bath more often as compared to dog with thinner coat(jack russell terrier, mini pinscher, short coat chihuahua, etc) Skin condition – A bath every 4-5 days is needed if your dog has existing skin issue(yeast infection, heat rash, etc) Living habit – If your dog is walked every day, a bath every 4-5 days is also recommended.
